Hand on heart: even we in the team at JUNGLÜCK sometimes stand in front of the mirror and don't really feel like an extensive skincare routine. Some days we simply don't have the time or we just want to start the day quickly and fall into bed in the evening. We know it, you know it. And yet skincare should not be neglected. That's why I asked around the team and collected 5 tips on how you can shorten your personal skincare routine a little with very simple tricks.
Mix it up: product combinations that save time
The easiest way to save time with Skincare : Combine the individual steps. However, this does not work with every product, as a water-based product does not mix particularly well with an oil-based product. Basically, you can mix these JUNGLÜCK product categories together:
HYALURONIC CONCENTRATE & SEREN
The Hyaluronic Concentrate is one of our most popular products because it gives every skin a good dose of moisture and keeps it fresh. If you use one of our serums alongside the concentrate, you have the opportunity to save a few minutes here. If you follow the layering steps, you would actually apply the concentrate first, leave it on and thenapply the serum . But if you need to do it quickly, I mix a pump of concentrate with 3-4 drops of your serum in the palm of my hand. For example, one of our Vitamin C sers. I then dab the mix onto my nose, chin, cheeks and forehead and gently massage it in. In summer, that's actually all I apply, apart from sun cream of course.
FACE CREAM & OILS
Especially in winter, a combination of concentrate and serum is usually not enough. To Protect the skin from the cold, I therefore use the Hyaluron cream agent together with the Jojoba Oil. The tip that Michael gave me in my early days at JUNGLÜCK is actually worth its weight in gold: mix a pump of the cream with 2-3 drops of your oil, in my case: the Argan Oil. You can really combine all products from the two categories here, so don't worry. This clever trick not only saves you some time, but also prevents the products from "rolling" off your skin in little fluffs if you leave too little time between the individual layering steps. Two birds with one stone! Oh, and one more thing: don't forget to apply sun cream at the end of AM , even in winter.
OIL & SERUM?
You are not using the Hyaluronic Concentrate or a cream and would like to combine your serum with your oil? I already explained at the beginning that it can be difficult to mix some products that do not have the same Basis . So an oil will never really mix with a serum in the palm of your hand. For your facial skin, this means that in some areas, the serum may sit on top of the oil and not be absorbed properly. The layering rule of thumb "from thin to thick" makes perfect sense here. It is therefore better to continue to apply the oil and serum separately.
